While I was waiting for my hair to set, I got to work on my food. The first thing I made was the Roasted Sweet Potato Salad. I figured that it could get cold and still taste great. I was right.
I also got to work on my coconut tapioca pudding and toasting some coconut. Instead of using milk, I used almond milk and reduced the amount needed by a half cup. Once the tapioca was ready, I added some coconut milk (a taste of thai brand) and let it set up. Right before I served it, I popped in my chocolate macadamia nut lacey cookie and toasted coconut.

Took forever for me to figure out where a liquor store was today. I don't usually buy booze. If I drink I tend to go for a hard cider or a glass of wine. Since I needed some rum, I decided to go with Sailor Jerry. I mean, why not?
Finished up my shopping this morning with a trip to World Market (aside from the liquor store). I found some cool bamboo knotted picks that I wanted to use for cherries and pineapple.
I started dinner early around 4:45pm
