An Outfit To Start A Busy Month!

March is going to be incredibly busy, so I decided to start my month with a great outfit.  I made the shirt yesterday and the trousers I've had made for a while.  The shirt is made from a yellow and grey chevron cotton that I found.  I lack yellow in my wardrobe and thought that a bright yellow shirt would be great for some of my navy stuff.  The pattern I used was Simplicity 1779, shirt B.

Trying to get a close up.  You can find the fabric at JoAnn Fabric.

The trousers that I am wearing are a navy bottomweight twill, the pattern Folkwear Rosie The Riveter - trousers.  I have three pairs of these trousers: black linen, black polyester (upholstry grade), and navy twill.  I also have a pair of the overalls in denim.  I absolutely love the Folkwear pattern and highly recommend getting it, especially if you're looking for retro trousers.

My busy month is made up of me going to crossfit 5 times a week, taekwondo 3 times a week, dog obedience classes twice a week, swing dance class once a week, a taekwondo belt test at the end of the month, and a weightlifting seminar in mid-March (over a whole weekend).  Busy, busy, busy - but for me, busy is very good.  I might go to the zombie prom this weekend, but I'm not 100% on that.

How's your March going?  Have any swanky plans?

Don't forget!  I have this giveaway going on!
