Running Shape

Barbara has good motivation.
I need to get into running shape.  I can front squat 155lbs (3RM), but I have a tough time running any amount of distance.  I've always disliked running.  I find it really boring to just run.  Trail running is a little different because you have to watch out for roots, branches, rocks, etc.  Just running though....blah.  I guess it comes down to me needing proper motivation.  Bees, zombies, a bear?  Good motivation.

I'm not really sure what people do to get into running shape, but I'm going to start by going to Planet Fitness after work.  Really simple - run for 30 minutes on the eliptical.  I have my ipod loaded with music, so I should be ready to go.

I'm also looking forward to the weight loss that is sure to follow with this.  I already have crossfit and taekwondo.  I'm hoping this is the boost I need to really get into my size 6 pants.

Any tips would be appreciated.
