Trump is Hilarious

I don't usually get political on here, but I want to share my thoughts on Trump.  First off, I like him.  I like how brash and upfront he is.  I like how he isn't always politically correct.  I like how he doesn't pussy-foot around everyone and every topic.  I also like the fact that he's a businessman.

I went through articles and was able to pick out his political stances, his political platform.  Unfortunately, Trump's website doesn't list his political platform.

Going through the platform, I found that I didn't know anything about this Trans-Pacific Partnership, so I looked into it.

I found some basic info on wikipedia:
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a proposed trade agreement between several Pacific Rim countries concerning a variety of matters of economic policy. Among other things, the TPP seeks to lower trade barriers such as tariffs, establish a common framework for intellectual property, enforce standards for labour law and environmental law, and establish an investor-state dispute settlement mechanism. The goal of the agreement is to "enhance trade and investment among the TPP partner countries, to promote innovation, economic growth and development, and to support the creation and retention of jobs."

I'm not 100% behind this.  Do you know that import tariffs in the US is only at (average) 7.6% while other countries have import tariffs set between 12-17%?  I think we might want to consider raising our import tariffs on non-food items to similar worldly rates, all the while giving reason for Americans to start producing again.  We need to produce instead of just being a service country.

Anyway, when it comes to politics, I always figure that you're choosing the lesser of the evils.  I've never fully agreed with any candidate.  Every political test I take always places me as a centrist.  If you don't know what that is, just google it.

I will say that I don't think it's worth my time to vote for president.  My vote counts for local and state elections.  My vote does not count for president, the electorial college votes in the president.  Aside from that it's just a big song and dance for the people.
