Writing & Music

I applied for grad school through Southern New Hampshire University this last week.  They have an online Masters in English & Creative Writing (screenwriting emphasis) program.  I'm pretty sure I'll get in.

I have a new screenplay that I'm working on.  I'm just about finished up with Act 1, but I don't think my hook is exactly there.  Maybe I'm just overthinking it.  Anyone want to give it a glance and tell me what they think?  Email me.

Since December, I've been in a band.  We have no name yet and we just do covers.  We're still in the "learning songs and learning to play them as one" stage.  Today I couldn't make practice.  I woke up with a sinus migraine and that was added to by 11am with some low blood pressure.  It's cleared up, but ARGH  I put in about 18 hours of practice on my bass.  Shit man.  I couldn't just wait for the head pain and low blood pressure until tomorrow?  I'm going to push for these songs (tell me what you think): "After Dark" by Tito & Tarantula, "Like A Bad Girl Should" by The Cramps, "Hey, Hey, My, My" by Neil Young, "Shoot 'Em Down" by Twisted Sister, "Private Idaho" by B-52s, and "Down In The Park" by Gary Numan.

As always, looking for comments!
