Day 1

I started out my day by going to the gym and tanning.  Going to the gym is something I do all the time, but I'm trying to think of it as a daily positive activity.  I just started tanning today.  I respond positively to tanning.  I always seem to be in a positive mood and I actually look forward to it.  It is also an incentive for me to work out because I won't go to the gym just to tan.

I know that they say money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a cheap stationary bike for an evening workout.  This is my new plan.  If I can make some headway on slimming down, even just one pant size, I will be thrilled.  My evenings are generally sedentary.  There's a lot of computer and tv time, even sewing is a sit-down activity.

I ran my first mile today in 7 minutes.  I was happy about that.  The other miles weren't as fast.

Anyone have any tips on tanning lotion that darkens you up fairly quickly?  I'm using Australian Gold right now.
