Road Blocks

Maybe starting to workout and do things right at Christmas was a bad idea.  I feel like it's just been one thing after another.  Eating-wise, I've done pretty well.  I'll admit to a piece of toast here and there.  I will also admit to trying out the three cakes that I made earlier this week for my mom's shop. 
That's standard practice in a bakery/deli/cafe, especially with new recipes.

What have my road blocks been so far?

  • Christmas
  • New Years Day
  • Back to back birthdays, Jan. 9, 12, and 13
  • Getting harassed by my mom and uncle about working out and what I eat
  • Running my mom's shop while she was out of town for a week
  • Myself

I always include myself because I am often my biggest road block.  I need to find some motivation.

I like my gym schedule.  Cardio, Upper Body, rest, Cardio, Lower Body, weekend.  I feel like it works for me.  I keep thinking that I should do a little more and I keep hearing about hot yoga.  I found two weekend classes for hot and warm yoga, so I think I'm going to go to those.  I'll have to test them to see if it's really what I want to do.  In the past I've only been able to do maybe 6 weeks of yoga before I get really bored with it, but I've never done hot yoga.


What do my readers think?  What else should I do?
